Terms of Use
Effective September 10, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RemediateDesk's website, dashboard application, admin console, and endpoint agent software (collectively, the "Service"), operated by RemediateDesk ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent ("you," "your").
1. The Service
RemediateDesk is an AI-assisted IT remediation platform. You install a lightweight agent on endpoints you own, manage, or are otherwise authorized to administer. The agent reports diagnostic information to our servers, our AI analyzes it and proposes commands to diagnose or resolve issues, and - depending on your organization's configured approval settings - those commands either run automatically (for commands classified as safe/read-only, or on a machine you've explicitly set to auto-run) or wait for a human on your team to review and approve them before they execute.
You are responsible for what you approve. RemediateDesk presents proposed commands and its reasoning for review; your organization is responsible for reviewing and approving commands before they run on machines where approval is required, and for the consequences of any command your organization approves or configures to run automatically. We strongly recommend reviewing your approval settings for any machine before enabling auto-run behavior, and treating it with the same caution you would apply to any automated administrative tool.
2. Your authorization to use the Service on a machine
You represent that you have the legal right and authority to install the RemediateDesk agent on every machine you enroll, and to authorize RemediateDesk's AI to run diagnostic and remediation commands on those machines. If you're enrolling machines on behalf of a client (for example, as a managed service provider), you represent that you have that client's authorization to do so.
3. Account registration and security
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by other users your organization invites. Notify us promptly at security@remediatedesk.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Access, diagnose, or run commands against any machine you are not authorized to administer.
- Violate any applicable law, or the rights of any third party.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or circumvent the security or approval mechanisms of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the machines connected to it.
- Use the Service to gain unauthorized access to any other system or network.
5. Third-party integrations
The Service can optionally connect to third-party products (for example, Autotask, ConnectWise RMM or Automate, or Microsoft 365) at your direction. Your use of those integrations is also governed by that third party's own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or acts or omissions.
6. Fees and billing
Use of the Service beyond any free tier is subject to the pricing published on our website or agreed in a separate order form, and is subject to change with reasonable advance notice. Fees, once due, are non-refundable except as required by law or as we otherwise agree in writing.
7. Intellectual property
RemediateDesk retains all right, title, and interest in the Service, including the underlying software, the endpoint agent, and our AI diagnosis logic. We claim no ownership over your own data, configurations, or the content of the machines you enroll. Feedback you voluntarily provide about the Service may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY AI-GENERATED DIAGNOSIS OR PROPOSED COMMAND, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will correctly diagnose or resolve every issue, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any command it proposes is free of unintended side effects. Commands that change a machine's state carry inherent risk, which is why the Service is built around human review and approval for anything outside a machine's explicit auto-run configuration - that review step exists precisely because we cannot guarantee outcomes on your behalf.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REMEDIATEDESK WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY COMMAND EXECUTED ON A MACHINE WHETHER OR NOT IT WAS APPROVED BY A HUMAN ON YOUR TEAM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RemediateDesk harmless from any claim arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your lack of authorization to enroll a machine or authorize commands to run on it.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and don't cure the breach within a reasonable time after notice, or immediately if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and data associated with your account is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account administrators directly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction to be finalized], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
